Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service at toplordstats.com, operated by Michael Ketzer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We publish the current version on this page with its date. If a change materially affects paid subscriptions, we will notify subscribers by email before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

2. The Service

The Service is a web-based workspace for alliance leaders in the mobile game Top Lords. Depending on your plan, the Service provides:

• a kingdom overview showing alliance rankings and placement on the game server you select;
• private workspaces to track the lords in the alliances you manage, including rank, power, hero power, kills and history;
• AI-assisted import of data from screenshots you upload;
• automatic synchronisation of alliance data ("auto-sync") on plans that include it;
• invitations and scoped access for managers you appoint;
• public kingdom pages based on publicly visible in-game rankings.

The Service is intended to help you organise your game alliance. Any commercial use beyond that requires our prior written approval.

Referral program

Share your referral code with a new user before their first sign-in. Eligible referred users receive 14 extra days on their first Pro trial. After their workspace completes its first paid transaction, you receive 1 month of subscription credit for a workspace you own. If you do not have an active paid subscription, the credit waits until you subscribe. Credits extend the next billing date; they are not cash payments, have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and other abuse void credits. We may withhold referrals that match an existing account’s email pattern; contact support if you believe a referral was withheld in error. Refunds and chargebacks reverse unused referral credit. The one-trial-per-user and one-trial-per-alliance limits still apply.

3. Accounts

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where local law requires) to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information and keeping your email address current;
• keeping access to your email account secure and not sharing sign-in codes;
• all activity that occurs under your account; and
• telling us promptly at support@toplordstats.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

Workspace owners are responsible for the people they invite and the access they grant. An alliance is managed in a workspace only after its management has been verified; selecting or paying for an alliance slot does not by itself grant control of an alliance.

4. Plans, payments and subscriptions

7-day free Pro trial

Choosing your alliance starts a free 7-day trial with Pro features, including auto-sync where roster collection is available for your kingdom. No payment method is required. Trials are available once per user and once per game alliance; deleting a workspace or using another account for the same alliance does not provide another trial. Access ends at the trial end time unless you buy a subscription. Buying during the trial replaces the trial and starts paid access immediately.

4.1 Our reseller and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

4.2 Subscriptions and billing

• Plans are subscriptions billed monthly in advance in euros (EUR). Current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• Paddle calculates and collects any applicable VAT or sales tax, shows the final amount at checkout and issues your invoices and receipts.
• You are responsible for keeping your payment details with Paddle up to date.

4.3 Plans and features

Each plan defines how many alliances you can manage in your workspace and whether auto-sync is included. If a feature included in your plan stops being available, we will tell you, and you may change your plan or cancel.

4.4 Changing or cancelling your plan

You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then and are not charged again. You can resume a scheduled cancellation before the billing period ends. Upgrades start immediately and you pay the prorated difference today. Downgrades start immediately and the unused time is credited to your Paddle balance toward your next payments. When downgrading from Server Bundle to a one-alliance plan, you choose which alliance stays active and the others return to setup with their data kept. Small does not include auto-sync.

4.5 Price changes

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the new price applies.

4.6 Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which includes a 14-day money-back guarantee.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws;
• use the Service for fraud, spam or other deceptive practices;
• upload content that infringes intellectual property or other rights of third parties;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts or related systems, or probe, scan or test their security;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers or networks, or upload viruses or other harmful code;
• access the Service with automated means (bots, scrapers) without our permission;
• claim or try to access an alliance you do not manage, or misrepresent your role in an alliance;
• share your account, or resell, redistribute or sublicense access to the Service;
• harass, abuse or impersonate other people.

You are responsible for making sure that the way you obtain and upload game data complies with the terms of the game.

6. AI processing and data accuracy

Screenshot imports use artificial intelligence to read text and numbers. Extracted data can be incomplete or wrong, so please review it before you save or rely on it. Rankings, statistics and progress figures are provided for information and may differ from what the game shows.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text and branding, is owned by Michael Ketzer and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose while your account is active. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

Disclaimer: The Service is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Top Lords or GAME SPARK PTE. LTD. Top Lords and all related names, marks and assets belong to their respective owners.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the data you upload, including screenshots and alliance information. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that content to provide the Service, and to use anonymised, aggregated data to improve it. You confirm that you have the right to upload the content you submit.

Your workspace data is private to you and the people you invite. We do not publish data you import. Public kingdom pages are based on publicly visible in-game rankings, not on your private imports.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Paddle (checkout and payments), Google (AI processing of screenshots through the Gemini API), Letterpier (email delivery), Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database). Their own terms and policies may also apply to your use of their services.

10. Availability of the Service

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features; where this materially affects a paid feature, we will give reasonable notice where possible.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Michael Ketzer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under mandatory product liability law, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Michael Ketzer from claims, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of another party's rights, or content you upload to the Service.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or use the Service unlawfully. Where reasonable, we will tell you the reason and give you an opportunity to fix the problem first.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. When your account ends, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law — remain in effect.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

16. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Michael Ketzer about the Service.
